Thirteen art exhibitions have been organized at the Museum, while Museum Pasifika has also participated in 14 exhibitions outside its walls in Bali, Jakarta, Singapore, France, the Netherlands, Germany.
Cultural Documentation
Cultural documentation included publishing and participating in 28 art books and catalogs Three large projects were conducted over the last ten years to save, restore and exhibit famous artworks, which were once severely damaged, and later restored to their former glory and given a second life.

A large and unique monumental artwork, painted by Ida Bagus Nyoman Rai, a Balinese artist, and Theo Meier a Swiss artist was salvaged after a full 6 months of delicate restoration. The painting ‘The Temple at Sanur’ (1953) with a size of 3m x 2,6m is today wholly restored and exhibited. restored it. Unique by its enormous size (6 m x 4 m), famous by its function, influential by its artist and mythic by its theme (Ramayana), it is today a precious heirloom of the Bali heritage.

Another Diptych of the Swiss artist, from the same period, was as badly damaged, but finally restored and exhibited, ‘The Bidadari Legend (1953) with a size of 2.6 m x 1.7 m, which now stands next to ‘The Temple in Sanur’.

A Monumental painting for the ceremonial purpose by I Gusti Kobot that was ordered by the Royal Family of Karangasem in 1952, which was abandoned after the event, and once rescued by President Soekarno in 1960. The Museum finally restored it. Unique by its enormous size (6 m x 4 m), famous by its function, influential by its artist and mythic by its theme (Ramayana), it is today a precious heirloom of the Bali heritage.
